Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at the hotel for one night during my son's wedding. The room was enormous, really clean, and had a very comfortable bed. However, I found it a bit small, dark, and missed having a table and chairs for drinks. The service was lovely with great first impressions on arrival, but I never heard back after leaving my contact details. The location was excellent, near local restaurants and within walking distance of Princes Street. The dining experience was exceptional, especially the breakfast served by Jean and Pauline, who were a ray of sunshine. I particularly enjoyed the facilities available during my stay.
The hotel is in a lovely area with easy access to the city center and offers excellent service and comfortable rooms. However, there were some cleanliness issues potentially due to staff shortage. The dining experience was exceptional, but some facilities were lacking.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but a bit too hot for my liking with the winter weight duvet. The service was overall friendly, although one staff member seemed a bit too preoccupied with one table. The location was great, next to a lovely park and close to the city center. The dining experience was excellent, especially the cooked full breakfast.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The location was ideal near the city center and Bruntsfield Links, but the rooms were hot and noisy, needing redecorating. The service was pleasant, but some interactions felt impersonal. The dining experience was strangely excellent, with a limited breakfast selection. The facilities were basic but functional. Price was reasonable, but additional charges for parking and room conditions agreement were off-putting.
Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were cozy, but slightly warm despite the provided fan. The service was exceptional, with staff being friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient, especially for university-related activities, although not in the center of town.
When I arrived in the evening, the room was arctically cold and took a good 45 minutes to warm up to a reasonable temperature. Despite not meeting my expectations at first, the room turned out to be beautiful and very spacious, thankfully without any terrible smells. The hotel staff were friendly and professional, making my stay pleasant. The location was great for exploring Edinburgh and had easy access to the city. The dining experience was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The hotel facilities were accommodating, with additional services like dry cleaning, laundry, a welcome drink, and even pet amenities available.
